- Format: Best 2 out of 3 games to 11 (win by 2; cap at 21).

- Forfeit: Recorded as a 11-0 loss. If the first two games are forfeited, Game 3 is not required and will be reset to blank.
- Void: If teams cannot complete a match or a game, they can agree to void the game.
- Scores: Teams are responsible for entering results. Avoid overwriting existing results.
Standings
Pools are created each round based on the current team standings. Those standings are affected by two things:
1. Team DUPR rating
Before each new round, each player’s current DUPR rating is pulled from the DUPR site and updated in our system.
Each team’s DUPR rating is then calculated by averaging the DUPR rating of the two players on that team.
For example:
- Player A
- 3.50
- Player B
- 3.70
- Team DUPR
- 3.60
If a player’s DUPR rating changes, the team’s DUPR rating may also change. That can affect where the team is seeded compared to other teams.
Important note: the system only pulls current DUPR information from DUPR. No match results or league data are sent to DUPR.
2. Season record
The system also looks at each team’s overall season record using a simple formula:
wins minus losses
For example:
- 6 wins and 4 losses
- +2
- 5 wins and 5 losses
- 0
- 3 wins and 7 losses
- -4
This is based on the full season so far, not just the most recent round.
Because of this, winning a match in one round does not automatically mean a team will move up in the next round. The next round’s pools are based on the overall standings, which include both the team DUPR rating and the team’s season record.
Also, if players do not play in DUPR-rated tournaments or events outside our league, their DUPR rating may not change much, or at all. That is not an advantage or disadvantage by itself. It is just one factor in how teams are ranked.
In short:
Teams are not ranked only by who beat whom in the last round.
They are ranked using a combination of current team DUPR rating and overall season performance.
DUPR Ratings
- Internal: Results on this site are for league standings only and are not entered into DUPR.
- Updates: Current DUPR ratings will be used to re-seed teams at the end of each round.
